Agent & Reseller Terms

These Terms govern the registration, conduct, and obligations of all agents (resellers) operating on the Wenjoy.ae platform. By registering as an agent, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. Non-compliance may result in account suspension or termination.

1 Eligibility to Register as an Agent

To register and operate as an agent on Wenjoy.ae, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a minimum of 20 years of age at the time of registration.
  • Hold a valid UAE marketing licence or permit where required under applicable UAE laws and regulations for marketing and promotional activities.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during the registration and KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
  • Not be subject to any legal prohibition that would prevent you from engaging in commercial or marketing activities in the UAE.

Wenjoy reserves the right to request proof of eligibility, including copies of licences or permits, at any time. Agents who fail to provide satisfactory proof may have their accounts suspended pending review.

2 Role of an Agent

Agents on Wenjoy.ae are resellers who promote listed properties and refer guests to the platform using their unique referral links. Agents are not property owners and do not have the ability to create, edit, or delete property listings. Agents earn a commission for each confirmed booking made through their referral link.

Agents operate independently and are not employees, partners, or representatives of Wenjoy. Agents may not claim to represent Wenjoy in any official capacity without written authorisation.

3 Marketing & Promotional Activities

3.1 UAE Marketing Compliance

All agents are required to conduct all marketing and promotional activities in strict compliance with the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates, including but not limited to regulations governing advertising, digital marketing, email marketing, and influencer marketing.

Wenjoy strongly encourages all agents to familiarise themselves with the relevant UAE regulatory frameworks and to obtain all necessary permits before commencing any marketing activities.

3.2 Permitted Marketing Channels

Agents may promote Wenjoy properties through the following channels, provided they have obtained all necessary UAE permits and are acting in full compliance with UAE law:

  • Personal social media accounts and pages.
  • Websites and blogs operated by the agent.
  • Email marketing to consented audiences.
  • Offline promotional materials (business cards, flyers, etc.).

3.3 Prohibited Marketing Practices

The following marketing practices are strictly prohibited for all Wenjoy agents:

  • Marketing without a valid UAE permit: Any agent under the age of 20 or without a valid marketing licence or permit under UAE law is prohibited from engaging in any form of marketing or promotional activity on behalf of Wenjoy or using its properties.
  • Misrepresentation: Agents must not make false, exaggerated, or misleading claims about any Wenjoy property, pricing, availability, or the platform itself.
  • Spam marketing: Unsolicited bulk email marketing (spam), unsolicited WhatsApp broadcasting, or any other form of unsolicited mass communication is strictly prohibited.
  • Paid advertising without approval: Running paid online advertisements (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) using Wenjoy's brand name, logo, or properties without prior written approval from Wenjoy.
  • Impersonation: Representing yourself as an official Wenjoy employee, spokesperson, or partner without written authorisation.
  • Competitor platforms: Listing or promoting Wenjoy properties on competing booking platforms without explicit written consent from Wenjoy.
  • Sharing confidential information: Disclosing any pricing, commission, or operational information designated as confidential by Wenjoy.

3.4 WhatsApp & Messaging Platform Marketing

Agents who use WhatsApp or similar messaging platforms for marketing must ensure they are compliant with UAE telecommunications regulations and that all recipients have consented to receive such communications. Unsolicited WhatsApp broadcasts promoting Wenjoy properties are not permitted.

3.5 Social Media Marketing

Agents who promote Wenjoy properties on social media must clearly disclose their status as an independent agent and not misrepresent the partnership. Posts must comply with the UAE's influencer and advertising regulations, including requirements for sponsored content disclosure where applicable.

4 Referral Links

Each agent is provided with a unique referral link through their Wenjoy dashboard. Commission is tracked and attributed through this link. Agents must not:

  • Share their referral link with other agents for the purpose of earning double commissions.
  • Use their referral link to make bookings for themselves or individuals directly related to them in a manner designed to fraudulently earn commission.
  • Manipulate the referral system in any way.

Wenjoy reserves the right to investigate and reverse any commissions suspected of being earned fraudulently.

5 Commission & Payouts

Agent commission rates vary by property category and are subject to change. Agents are advised to check their dashboard regularly for current applicable rates. For full details on how commissions are earned, reversed, and paid, please refer to our Commission & Payout Policy.

6 Agent Conduct

All agents must conduct themselves professionally and ethically at all times when representing or promoting Wenjoy. Agents must:

  • Treat all prospective guests and vendors with courtesy and respect.
  • Provide accurate and honest information about properties and the booking process.
  • Not engage in any form of harassment, coercion, or pressure tactics when promoting Wenjoy to potential guests.
  • Comply with all applicable UAE laws at all times.
  • Promptly update their profile information and bank account details to ensure accurate commission payments.

7 Intellectual Property

Agents may not use the Wenjoy logo, brand name, property photos, or any other proprietary content in any marketing material without prior written consent from Wenjoy. Any approved use of Wenjoy intellectual property must comply with Wenjoy's brand guidelines and may be revoked at any time.

8 Account Suspension & Termination

Wenjoy reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any agent account if the agent:

  • Violates any part of these Agent & Reseller Terms.
  • Engages in fraudulent, misleading, or unethical conduct.
  • Fails to comply with UAE marketing laws or platform guidelines.
  • Is found to be under 20 years of age or without a required marketing permit.
  • Brings Wenjoy into disrepute through their actions or communications.

Upon termination, any unpaid commissions will be reviewed. Commissions earned in good faith prior to termination will generally be paid, subject to any outstanding disputes or violations.

9 Governing Law

These Agent & Reseller Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
